Covid-19 is making leaders take note of another public health crisis: racism
The declarations and resolutions come as the US continues to reckon with racism. Both the Covid-19 pandemic and the recent string of police shootings have brought renewed national attention to the ways that systems and institutions disadvantage Black Americans.
